What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. It lets the website remember, for example, your choice about cookies, or make sure that a form is submitted securely. Some cookies disappear when you close the browser, others are kept for a set time. The browser's local storage works in a similar way, and the same rules apply to it.
Which cookies we use
At present the website skurstenslaukisriga.lv does not use cookies: there are no statistics, advertising or social media tools, and the request form works without cookies. That is why no cookie notice is shown on the website.
If we add visitor statistics in the future, they will be set only with your consent, a cookie notice with the option to change your choice will appear on the website, and this page will be updated.
Storing information on a user's device is allowed with the user's consent; consent is not needed where this is necessary to provide the service the user has requested. Source: the Law on Information Society Services, Section 7.¹ (likumi.lv). Checked 03.11.2026.
